Florals, I don’t think they should be restricted only to the spring season, when they are adorable, but totally predictable. Given that there are different kinds of florals, I prefer to leave the most obvious ones (with big colorful and well defined flowers) for spring, and in summer I like to go for a smaller slightly more digital kind of print.
I know summer is ending, but before we say goodbye let’s do florals one more time!
This day I was feeling pretty and romantic so I decided to go all the way with this adorable ruffled jumper with nothing less than an all-over flower print. To take down a little bit of the cuteness I paired it with a denim vest, a cool completing piece that gives the outfit an urban touch.
This could be a very casual look, so to glam it up I wore these versatile Coach peep toe wedges. When styling jumpers that are capri length I like to wear heels, otherwise your legs look shorter than they really are, plus wearing an all-over print with the right amount of extra inches make you look taller and leaner.
So go ahead and enjoy what’s left of the summer with beautiful summery prints, ‘cause if you don’t you’ll have to wait two whole seasons to do so (unless you hit the beach or the occasional New Year’s cruise).
Have a great weekend (muak!)
