Hi guys, we’re back to the outfit of the day posts!! 🙂

I wore this look to a friend’s Bridal Shower, it was a ladies brunch at an elegant hotel, gorgeous flowers and lots of women looking their best on that Saturday morning, so one should think I must have carefully planned an selected the pieces I was going to wear, the truth is I actually put it together in a minute!

it’s amazing how many times I’ve stared at my closet thinking “I have nothing to wear”, what a cliché, but what most people don’t realize is that when someone (a fashion lover) says that, it doesn’t mean that they have ´nothing´ in their closet, of course not, we´re not blind, we know there’s money hanging in that closet! What we mean is that for a specific event, at a specific time with certain company… we have nothing to wear!

And that’s what happened to me days before the event, and since I was very busy and wasn’t going to have any time to go out and buy something I simply forgot about it, until that morning when staring at my closet with no previous thinking I trusted my instincts and in a minute put together what is now one my favorite outfits so far.

A classic high waisted black & white pencil skirt from Zara, paired with a gorgeous mint lace top, the color of the year from Suite Blanco, and some sexy heels: T strapped Dolce & Gabbana peep toe shoes. Kind of a bold look with the lace transparencies but I still love it, it’s feminine, elegant, chic and fearless, what’s fashion if not all the above.
