ACL 2014- Day 1

Music Festivals! Amazing wonderful catharsis experienced by thousands of people thanks to the universal and most fantastic language of all, MUSIC.

And what a better place to rock this experience than the ‘Live Music Capital of the World’, Austin Texas, in its biggest Festival of the year: the Austin City Limits.

I had such an amazing time! This year’s lineup was incredible: Lana del Rey, Calvin Harris, Foster the People, Pearl Jam, Lorde, Eminem, Iggy Azalea… it was like it was made just for me <3, also I was accompanied by the best friends ever! and the food you guys, oh my God, deliciousness everywhere.

But let’s get down to it, you know what I’m talking about… the Festival Fashion, joyeux bohemian looks, grungy rockstars, modern-hippie vibes, all presented by fringes, boots, ethnic accessories, suede, transparencies, converse shoes, hats, sunnies, 70’s inspired patterns and more.

And here’s the outfit I wore to ACL Day 1: fringe see-through top, retro-print shorts and a gorgeous ethnic necklace, a gift from this photoshoot’s Featured Photographer: Daniel Sanx, who was also part of my entourage for the ACL! as I said before, the best friends ever.

Festivales de Música! donde miles de personas viven catarsis intensas e increíbles gracias al lenguaje universal más fantástico de todos, la MÚSICA.

Qué mejor lugar para vivir esta experiencia que la “Capital Mundial de la Música en Vivo”, Austin Texas, en su Festival más grande del año: el Austin City Limits.

Me la pasé increíble! El programa de artistas de este año fue lo máximo: Lana del Rey, Calvin Harris, Foster the People, Pearl Jam, Lorde, Eminem, Iggy Azalea… es como si hubiera sido planeado especialmente para mí <3, además iba con los mejores amigos que el mundo pueda pedir! y la comida, oh my God, cosas deliciosas por todos lados.

Pero bueno vayamos al punto, la razón que nos mueve… la Moda de Festival, looks bohemios, rockstars grunge, hippies actuales, todo a través de flecos, botas, accesorios étnicos, gamuza, transparencias, tenis converse, sombreros, lentes de sol, prints inspirados en los 70’s y más.

En este post les presento el outfit que usé para el ACL Día 1: top de flecos con transparencia, shorts de print retro y un hermoso collar de inspiración étnica, éste último fue un regalo del Featured Photographer de esta sesión: Daniel Sanx, quien también fue parte de mi grupo de amigos para el ACL! como dije antes, los mejores amigos que el mundo pueda pedir.
